Session Description
In this online session, students from Grades 5-8 will learn HTML to create the content of their website, CSS to style the different elements of their site, and JavaScript for making their website interactive to users. Students will follow along using the online IDE Replit. Additionally, throughout the course, students will be given challenges to check their HTML, CSS, and JS knowledge and give them more practice with each of the languages. At the end of the course, students will have the chance to create their own website to introduce themselves and express their creativity. This will be done with the assistance of experienced BASA mentors who will guide students through each step of the web development process. We hope to see you there!
