Session Description

We are partnering with IBM for a special in-person STEM collaboration event designed for high school students. During this event, students will get an inside look at IBM through a guided tour of the IBM Silicon Valley Lab, meet IBM professionals, and learn about their work, careers, and experiences in the technology industry.

Students will also take part in a hands-on app-building workshop, where they will learn about the process behind developing apps and have the opportunity to build their own. This event is a great opportunity for students interested in computer science, engineering, technology, or STEM careers to gain real-world exposure, ask questions, and explore potential career paths.

The event will take place on Wednesday, November 11th, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the IBM Silicon Valley Lab in San Jose, CA. The event is completely free and limited to 30 high school students, so spots are limited.
