Session Description
In this hands-on and interactive session, students will learn to plan circuits online, physically build them using breadboards, and learn how to code for physical projects. Students will be paired up in teams of 4-6 with an experienced mentor to guide each team through creating their own fully functional project using an Arduino board and physical components. There are 2 days in total, and there will be a new medium introduced every day to bring unique ways that students can overcome limitations to create their physical project with.

FAQ
FAQ
Q: Do I need to pack lunch for my kids?
No, pizza will be provided for lunch along with a snack break and free snacks.
Q: What kind of skills will my kids learn at the camp?
Your kids will learn the basics of digital logic and circuit design, such as how to use sensors, design circuits, and build them. They will also apply these skills to create their own project.
Q: Is there a meeting for parents before the camp?
No, there is no meeting for parents.
Q: Do my kids need to bring their own devices?
Yes, computers or tablets are important for digital simulation tools like tinkercad circuits and digital arduino boards. However, because they will be working in teams with a mentor, students will be able to share devices with mentors and each other, so they are not a necessity if they are not available.
Q: Will you provide the physical components for the camp?
Yes, we will provide everything your kids need to physically build circuits and test their code. The only things they should bring are a water bottle, snacks, and a computer/tablet if available.
Q: How many spots are available for the camp?
We have a limit of 30 spots for the camp and they fill up fast, so sign up as soon as possible!
Q: Are there any other camps planned for the future?
Yes, we are planning to have another camp during the Thanksgiving Break.
