BASA is so proud to partner with Sandisk for an immersive stem experience for high school and college students!
Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities, collaborate in innovation challenges, connect with industry professionals, tour the Sandisk campus, and hear firsthand insights from employees across different career paths. We are incredibly grateful to the Sandisk team for their mentorship, support, and commitment to inspiring the next generation of innovators.
Events like this reflect Bay Area Stem Academy’s mission: making stem education more accessible, engaging, and empowering for students.
An event like this takes a lot of coordination, and we couldn't have done it without Christina Wang from Sandisk’s People, Community, and Engagement team. From our first meeting to handling all the on-site logistics, Christina was our go-to person and made the entire process smooth for our student-run organization. We’re incredibly grateful for her support.
I also want to give a huge shout-out to our own Bay Area Stem Academy team who were there: Aamir Lokhandwala, Abhinav Bhattacharya, Alvin Wang, Alex Wang, and Veer Khona. They did a great job running their own stations and making sure all the Sandisk volunteers and students had a great experience. And thank you to our adult supervisor, Fannie Wang, for being there with them.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible. We’re excited to continue building opportunities that help students explore stem, develop confidence, and connect with future career pathways.
